Hi

I was due for a donation in Nov. and I looked up the mobile blood bank site to check the location nearest me. I couln't find any in Nov and the nearest one was in Elias Rd on 2nd Dec. in Pasir Ris. I am staying in Hougang. On the 2nd, I went all the way to Elias Rd and during the donation, I was chatting with the nurse and she mentioned that they were at Kovan CC the Saturday before. I was surprised as the website didn't show this or I would have gone there which is a lot nearer to my home.

So, I hope the mobile blood bank website can be updated accurately to capture all possible donors.

Dear Shtay,

First, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. This is the first time a missing entry about a bloodmobile has been reported.

The data in the online system is managed entirely by Redcross Staff @ Bloodbank. I have alerted them to this and they will post an official version of the reply asap.

In the meantime, thanks for donating one more time and bringing this up to our notice. We sincerely hope this negative experience will not deter you from donating again or from visiting our website

cheers,
Krishnan

No Problem Krishnan.

I will continue to do my best as long as I am able to. In fact, I signed up as a bone marrow donor as well during the blood donation.
