There are 3 types of apheresis collection machines.
My favourite is the Trima Accelerated machine.

I prefer this machine compared to the other two because of the following:
1. Faster. Can finish in 1 hour compared to 1.5 hour for the other machines.
2. Can know the remaining time to finish as info is shown on the machine display.
3. Can know when is draw cycle and return cycle, both by feeling and by display info on the machine. Hence no need to keep squeezing.
4. Less frequent of the beep beep alarm going off during the process.
However, it seems not every apheresis donor is suitable to use this machine. The nurses assign it only to those with bigger veins.
