Hi doerws

I am quite confirm that u are not required to undergo blood type test before hand. I dont think they will able to test ur blood type instantly. However, they will conduct the blood type test after they take all the blood back to blood bank.

& thanks for ur interest to donate blood.

Pls log on to http://www.hsa.gov.sg/publish/hsaportal/en/health_services/blood_donation.html before ur first blood donation to widen ur knowledge about blood donation. It may increase ur knowledge about blood donation process and could also be useful for mentally preparation.

i think seankoh is correct. just go and donate. don't have to do any pre test. make sure you sleep well the night before, have your meal before donation and no medication or dental treatment for the past 3 days. :)
