I was recently at a clinic and they needed blood. They had to stick me six times to get enough, about three times in each arm. They took about three cups of blood (715 ml).
That was a few days ago. Since then the backs of both of my hands have been numb, not constantly, only off and on. They get numb around my thumb and near my forefinger.
I've been looking around and I haven't seen anything about numbness as a side effect of giving blood. But I don't have any numbness problems otherwise, so I'm pretty sure it's from the blood draw. Will it go away soon?
thanks
Laura

It is best to seek medical attention by going back to the same clinic or other clinic.
