Hi,
Just want to get some of your perceptions on the use of the blood stock indicator on Donorweb home page.
Firstly, do you think it's necessary to have a blood stock indicator, given the same information has been summarised in the "news ticker" across the top?
Secondly, if a blood stock indicator is indeed useful, is it better to have it visible at all times?
The Donorweb team welcomes and values your feedback on this!

Hi ,
I do feel that having the stock level reflected is useful. As those regular donors can view their own blood type stock avl in the blood bank and do the needful.
Sometimes, it is like we wish to donate but fail to prioritise or do not feel the urge to do so due to other commitments. If the stock level can alert the registered users to donate when their stock levels run low would be very useful.

Dear Siva,
Thanks for your feedback.
1. We will keep the Blood Stock Indicator running.
2. We will also consider developing a system for auto-alert.

Krishnan

Hi
Blood stock indicator should be retained, It is a very good visual control tool. An automatic e mail or SMS can be sent to the registered donors when their respective blood group stock levels come to warning status.

Hi there,
Hi
Blood stock indicator should be retained, It is a very good visual control tool.
Thanks for the feedback. We hear it loud and clear here!
An automatic e mail or SMS can be sent to the registered donors when their respective blood group stock levels come to warning status.
Currently, we do have an SMS service which is only used for emergencies but we will take your point into consideration to extend its usage.
