Alcoholic Beverages and Blood Donation

Hi,

I would like to know if it is okay to donate blood if alcoholic beverages were consumed (e.g. beer, wine, at a wedding dinner) on the night before the day of donation?

one to two glasses of wine or beer is ok but if experience hangover, then should not donate blood as alcohol level is still high.
